Bibliotherapy
In the book “Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving” by Pete Walker, the author talks about “bibliotherapy.” While not a replacement for therapy, “bibliotherapy” is the art of gaining insights, growth, and healing through reading books that resonate, and help you better understand your experiences. Below are various books I find myself recommending again and again. Most of these will be available at your local library.
